TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Deposit:
A 20% deposit per event is due within 24hours of accepting a booking request. Information regarding payment will be emailed to the contact who filled out a booking form with FaceOff Face Painting Melbourne within 24 hours of accepting the booking request.
If the deposit is not received within the allocated time, your hold on the date and time will be released.
A Deposit must be received to confirm your booking.
2. Payment:
Payment Details will be provided via invoice which will be sent to you within 24 hours of us receiving the booking confirmation form.
FULL payment must be paid on or before the invoice due date or you risk the booking being cancelled and there will be no refund on deposits, 100% of all monies owning will still be due to be paid.

Please note:
We do not accept payments made via third-party verification services such as EFTSURE or any platforms requiring login access to our bank account details. This is for the safety of BOTH parties, Any attempt to pay using such methods will not be processed, and the booking unfortunately may be cancelled if alternative payment is not arranged.
4. Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation, please be sure to read the terms and conditions outlined below.
In receiving a completed booking agreement form from FaceOff Face Painting, in the event that you the client cancel the booking for any reason in 2 weeks or less of the event booking date 100% of all monies owing shall be paid to FaceOff Face Painting in order to off sett its loss of business.
For bookings cancelled 2 weeks or more from the event date all monies owing except the booking deposit fee will be returned if already paid or cancelled if due.
The booking shall become effective once completed and returned. At the time the contract takes effect, FaceOff Face Painting shall reserve the artist/s for said date and time agreed upon. For this reason, if you cancel the contract for any reason 2 weeks or less of the booking date 100% of all monies owing shall be paid to FaceOff Face Painting in order to offset its loss of business. *Exceptional circumstances will be discussed.
5. Cancellations/Change of Event Date on behalf of FaceOff Face Painting
In the unlikely event that FaceOff Face Painting are unable to attend your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, emergency, or extreme weather), we will make every effort to find a suitable replacement artist/s from our trusted network of experienced and professional entertainers. If a replacement cannot be arranged, We can offer you a replacement date or you can receive a full refund of all monies paid. We understand the importance of your event and will do everything within our power to avoid cancellation and ensure your day runs smoothly.
We FaceOff Face Painting reserve the right to decline or cancel quotes and/or bookings at our discretion. Reasons may include but are not limited to, Inadequate or unsafe working areas, insufficient or restricted parking/access/unloading areas, inadequate shelter from weather or sun, or any other circumstances that may prevent us from safely and effectively providing our services.
You/The Client must ensure reasonable parking and access for artists and safe reasonable unloading areas are provided. If parking or access is not provided or within reason booking may be cancelled and payment forfeited.
6. Behavior and Safety
We FaceOff Face Painting and our artists reserve the right to stop or cancel services if we encounter abusive, threatening or unsafe behavior from any person including but not limited to clients, guests, parents, or others at the event.
7. Timings at events
We FaceOff Face Painting are not responsible for reduced service or reduced service time if guests arrive late, don't show up or you have not as many guests as predicted or if the agreed schedule is changed on your behalf without prior notice.
8. Park Parties and Outdoor Events:

By checking the box on our booking form you are agreeing to our booking and cancellation policy.

We highly recommend keeping an eye on weather forecasts leading up to your event date.

You will need to notify FaceOff Face Painting if your event will be held outdoors. All outdoor events MUST have a backup plan for the same date and time & provide Indoor options. FaceOff will need to be notified of alternative arrangements in regards to event venue/location asap.

If you do not have a backup plan for an outdoor event, we will not be able to accept your booking.

Our artists require good lighting so please keep this in mind when booking.
9. Travel Fees:
A travel fee may apply, This will be discussed with you at the time of booking, before the Deposit/full payment is due.
10. Parking Fees:
Parking will be discussed with you upon booking, If the artist is required to park in Paid/Ticketed parking, parking fees will be added to the amount owing for the event via an invoice. Please note it is the clients responsibility to pay for any Parking costs incurred by the artist along with additional time required for arrival in the event of limited parking or extend distance between parking and setup location. In turn please make sure you allow easily accessible close parking for our artists.
11. Information About Your Booking:
You will receive a text message or email the week of the event to confirm the time of the event, the face painters name and any other details that apply to your booking.
Your FaceOff artist will arrive 10-15 minutes before the event time to set up and ensure painting starts at the designated time. The artist will notify you if they are running late and when their estimated time of arrival will be.
Your artist will take photos of the kids on the day. the artist will ask permission for each child if parents are close by, Please advise your artist during the booking if you do not wish them to take photos.
If there are more children than outlined in the booking form and you require additional time, this can be discussed with the face painter directly regarding additional charges on the day, and if they have available time to extend their services. Keep in mind our artists are usually fully booked and need to attend other events after yours.
Please note, we cannot offer discounts for less children once the numbers and allocated time of event has been confirmed.
In the case of having extra time, your artist will offer their services to the adults or offer a second opportunity for children to receive face/body painting and/or glitter tattoos/balloons if the artist has them on the day.
NOTE
We DO NOT apply face gems on children under 3 years of age due to the risk of swallowing them.
Face gems are not applied to every face, they are only applied when the artist has time and feels it suits the designs.
We do not paint the faces of children under 3 years of age. FaceOff Artists have the right to refuse to paint any child that is under 3 years of age. We will absolutely not force any child to be painted even if the parent is insisting, face painting is meant to be a happy fun experience.
All FaceOff Face Painting Melbourne artists hold:
A valid Working With Children Check,
Public liability insurance,

What Our Artist’s May Require:

Fresh and clean water

An undercover, shaded area free from windy conditions

An adult height table

2 Adult height chairs
If you require the face painter to bring their own table and chairs, please let us know at the time of booking or when confirming party details the week prior to the event. There is no additional charge for your artist to supply table and chairs.
12. Our Products:

All products used by FaceOff Face Painting Melbourne artists are professional, highest quality, non-toxic face paints.

Our artists use the 3/4 brush wash method to ensure brushes are clean and sanitized between clients.

We offer patch tests of our face paint to any children getting their face painted for the first time.

Before and after each event, our paints, brushes and sponges are cleaned and disinfected.
-
We ONLY use cosmetic grade glitters to apply to the face and body.

Hair products and tools are also cleaned and disinfected before and after each event.

Cosmetic grade glitters and adhesives are used for our Glitter Tattoos.
13. Important Information
Allergic Reactions:
Parents/Guardians of the children being painted accepted ALL responsibility for any skin reactions, irritation or allergic reactions that may occur. We use high quality FDA skin approved paints and products however we can not guarantee no reactions, by agreeing to have your child's Face or Body painted you are agreeing to this policy. If you are at all concerned our artists are more than happy to do a patch test and wait for any reactions.
Popped balloons may pose a choking hazard to small children. Adult supervision is required at all times. Not recommended for children under 3 years.
